Does this require a drug facts panel?
Yes. Zinc pyrithione is an OTC antidandruff active, so the label needs a drug facts panel. We supply compliant copy.
Can you use ketoconazole or piroctone olamine instead?
Selenium sulfide, also a US monograph antidandruff active, is available as an alternative. Piroctone olamine is not a US monograph active, so it can only go into a cosmetic version without dandruff claims, and ketoconazole at 1% requires a separate regulatory path we can advise on.
