How a Bullet, Liquid, or Tinted Balm Actually Gets Made
Lipstick isn't blended — it's built. Five precision stages take raw pigment from drum to retail-ready bullet, with quantitative checks at every handoff so the 2,000th unit reads identical to the first.
Pigment Grinding
Raw pigments are triple-roll milled into the oil phase to break agglomerates, locking in saturated payoff with zero streak or speck.
Wax & Oil Base
Carnauba, candelilla, and emollient esters are melted in jacketed kettles at ±1°C, then married with the pigment phase under high-shear blending.
Spectrophotometer Match
Every shade is read in L*a*b* color space against your master standard — no eyeballing, no batch-to-batch drift.
Molding & Filling
Bullets are cast in chilled molds, flame-polished, and seated into custom components; liquid lips run on precision dosing fillers.
QC & Stability
Hardness, payoff, drop, heat (50°C), freeze-thaw, microbial, and 12-week accelerated stability before a single unit ships.

A lipstick lives on someone's face for eight hours and on camera for sixty seconds — both have to look identical to the master sample. Our color lab matches every bullet quantitatively, then locks the recipe so unit 2,000 reads the same as unit 1 on a spectrophotometer.
