OEM & ODM Supplement and Cosmetic Manufacturer

We are not a traditional CDMO that fills whatever formula lands in the inbox. Bring us a formula and we will tell you how to make it better. Bring us an idea and we will design it with you. Then we manufacture, test, flavor, package and ship it — all under one roof, for both supplements and cosmetics.

OEM vs ODM: What They Actually Mean

The two acronyms get used interchangeably, and they should not be. They describe who owns the design work, and that single distinction decides your timeline, your cost, your differentiation and what you actually own at the end.

    OEM

    You bring the formula

Original Equipment Manufacturer. You own the specification — actives, doses, excipients, format. We source, produce, test, package and ship it to that spec. Maximum control, maximum ownership, and you carry the development work.

    ODM

    We design it with you

Original Design Manufacturer. You bring positioning, target customer and price point. We develop the formula, flavor system, dosage form and packaging around it, and the result is exclusive to your brand. Fastest path to a differentiated product.

    Private Label

    Existing product, your label

An off-the-shelf stock formula with your branding. Cheapest and fastest, and the least defensible — a competitor can buy the identical product from the same catalog next week.

In practice, most projects are a hybrid. A brand arrives with a half-finished formula from a consultant, a flavor direction from a competitor they admire and a cost ceiling from their margin model. That is neither pure OEM nor pure ODM — it is a real product problem, and it is exactly the work we are built for.

Why We Are Not a Traditional CDMO

A traditional contract manufacturer is a set of machines you rent. You send a formula, they quote it, they run it, and if the formula was flawed you find out from your customers. Development, if it exists at all, is a separate department with a separate queue and a separate invoice.

We operate as a product partner instead. The formulation bench, the analytical lab, the flavor team and the production floor are the same organization, so the people who improve your formula are the people who have to manufacture it at scale. That alignment changes the advice you get.

We touch the formula — on purpose

A traditional contract manufacturer runs what you hand them and flags nothing. We review every incoming formula for dose accuracy, excipient conflicts, stability risk, taste and landed cost, then tell you exactly what we would change and why. You decide; we never silently substitute.

Development is not a separate vendor

Most brands stitch together a formulator, a flavor house, a lab, a filler and a packager. Our formulation bench, analytical lab, flavor development, production lines and packaging sit in the same 375,000+ sq ft company-owned facility, so nothing is lost in tech transfer.

Iteration is included, not billed as a project

OEM and ODM work is iterative by nature. Prototypes, reformulation rounds and sensory adjustments are part of how we work, and prototyping cost is credited toward your first full production order.

You get a person, not a portal

One named US-based point of contact who knows your formula, your artwork status and your retail deadline, with same-business-day responses. That is the difference brands actually feel month to month.

If you are comparing manufacturing models more broadly, our next-gen CDMO comparison and dropship vs private label vs custom guide go deeper on the trade-offs.

    OEM: Manufacturing Your Formula, Exactly

You own the specification and we execute it — with the sourcing discipline, process validation and documentation that keeps unit 200,000 identical to your approved prototype.

    Formula replication and scale-up

We reproduce your existing formula exactly at production scale, matching potency, appearance, dissolution and sensory profile to your reference sample.

    Supplier and grade matching

Actives sourced to the same grade, mesh, extract ratio and standardization your formula specifies — or a documented, approved equivalent.

    Your spec, your IP

Your formula stays yours. NDAs are executed before any detail is shared, and we never move a client formula into a stock catalog.

    Process validation

Blending uniformity, weight variation, fill accuracy and dissolution verified so unit 200,000 behaves exactly like unit one.

    Full QA documentation

Certificate of analysis per lot, retained samples, batch records and stability data that survive a retailer or marketplace audit.

    Turnkey packaging

Bottles, jars, sachets, tubes, stick packs, cartons, labels, shrink bands and retail-ready shippers handled in-house.

ODM: We Design the Product With You

Bring a customer, a positioning and a price point. Our formulation team turns that into a manufacturable product — and because development happens inside the plant that will produce it, nothing gets designed that cannot be built.

    Concept-to-spec formulation

Bring a positioning, a target customer and a price point. We come back with a manufacturable formula, a dosage form recommendation and a landed cost per unit.

    Ready-to-brand base formulas

A validated library of proven bases across sleep, energy, gut health, joint, hair-skin-nails, weight management and sports nutrition — customizable rather than take-it-or-leave-it.

    Flavor and sensory development

An in-house flavor bench for bitterness masking, aroma, mouthfeel and texture — the failure point behind most one-star reviews on technically correct products.

    Format engineering

The same actives behave differently in a capsule, gummy, stick pack, softgel or serum. We score feasibility per format before you commit artwork.

    Label and compliance build-out

Supplement Facts or INCI panel construction, allergen declarations, structure/function claim review and marketplace-restricted ingredient screening.

    Packaging and artwork support

Component selection, fill compatibility, dieline guidance and print-ready coordination so the pack does not become the bottleneck.

We Will Improve the Formula You Bring Us

This is the part most manufacturers skip. Every formula that arrives here gets a documented review before it is quoted, and you receive a short list of specific, optional improvements with the cost impact of each. You approve what you want. Nothing changes without your sign-off.

    Underdosed actives

We flag actives below the dose their own research supports, and price the clinical dose so you can make an informed call instead of shipping a claim you cannot defend.

    Stability landmines

Hygroscopic, oxidation-prone, heat-sensitive and pH-conflicting combinations get caught before a bench trial — not after your first production run cakes in a warehouse.

    Cost engineering

Same efficacy, better landed cost: excipient rationalization, supplier grade alternatives, fill optimization and format changes modeled against live vendor cost data.

    Taste and compliance

A formula customers stop taking has zero efficacy. Flavor, texture and pill size are treated as formulation problems, not marketing problems.

    Format upgrade

Sometimes the biggest improvement is not the formula — it is moving a chalky tub into stick packs, or a horse-pill tablet into a smaller capsule or an oral thin film.

    Regulatory cleanup

Ingredients screened against dietary-ingredient eligibility, NDI considerations and marketplace restrictions before a single unit is quoted.

    Your formula stays yours

NDAs are executed before any formulation detail is exchanged, improvements we propose to your proprietary formula belong to you, and client formulas never enter a stock catalog. You can sign an NDA before sharing anything.

    Everything Under One Roof

Every hand-off between companies is a place where a formula changes, a schedule slips or a cost appears. Our 375,000+ sq ft facility is company-owned, not brokered, and it holds the entire chain from bench to boxed pallet.

    OEM & ODM Cosmetic Manufacturing

The same OEM and ODM models apply to personal care. Bring an existing cosmetic formula for replication and scale-up, or a concept for full development — emulsion architecture, actives, preservative system, sensory profile, fragrance and pack. Both run at the same flat 2,000-unit MOQ.

Beauty-from-within brands can run the ingestible and the topical together — see the cosmetic manufacturing overview.

    How an OEM/ODM Project Runs

    1
    Brief and feasibility

You share the formula, the concept or both. We run a feasibility check on dose, format, stability, compliance and target cost, and come back with what is achievable.

    2
    Formulation or improvement round

For ODM we develop the formula; for OEM we review yours and propose specific, optional improvements with the cost impact of each.

    3
    Prototype and sensory

A real, tested, spec-sheeted sample with a stability plan. Adjust flavor, texture, size or color until it is right. Prototyping cost is credited toward production.

    4
    Pilot and validation

Process validation, analytical verification and packaging compatibility so the production run behaves like the prototype.

    5
    Production

First runs ship in 4–6 weeks from approved formula and artwork, at a flat 2,000-unit MOQ per SKU.

    6
    Restock and scale

Restocks in 14–21 days on the same equipment and batch lineage — from 2,000 units to seven-figure annual volume without requalifying a new plant.
